No development shall take place until details to satisfy the safety related principles, as set out in below have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The approved details shall be implemented in full thereafter. (i) No part of the sponsorship sign shall be erected closer to the central island kerb-line than existing traffic signs. (ii) Signs should be mounted on passive poles or behind and existing crash barriers. (iii) Signs must not obscure and existing traffic signs and must not be attached to any existing traffic signs. (iv) The precise locations of the signs shall be agreed onsite, prior to installation. REASON: In the interests of maintaining highway safety and the free and safe movement of traffic on the adjoining highway, and to comply with Policy PC5 of The Flintshire Local Development Plan.
The illumination of sign(s) hereby granted consent shall be non intermittent. REASON: In the interests of highway safety and visual amenity and to ensure compliance with Policy D7 in the Adopted Flintshire Unitary Development Plan.
Any advertisements displayed, and any site used for the display of advertisements, shall be maintained in a clean and tidy condition to the reasonable satisfaction of the local planning authority. * Any structure or hoarding erected or used principally for the purpose of displaying advertisements shall be maintained in a safe condition. * Where an advertisement is required under these Regulations to be removed, the removal shall be carried out to the reasonable satisfaction of the local planning authority. * No advertisement is to be displayed without the permission of the owner of the site or any other person with an interest in the site entitled to grant permission. * No advertisement shall be sited or displayed so as to obscure, or hinder the ready interpretation of, any road traffic sign, railway signal or aid to navigation by water or air, or so as otherwise to render hazardous the use of any highway, railway, waterway (including any coastal waters) or aerodrome (civil or military). REASON: These conditions are imposed by the Town and Country Planning, Control of Advertisement Regulations, 1992 (as amended).
