They recommended that the water supply is tested to ensure that it is safe and complies with the regulations. The applicant should contact the Gwynedd Council Water Sampling Officer for more details regarding water sampling. Natural Resources Wales Your attention is drawn to correspondence from Natural Resources Wales on the 29th of April 2025 advising that drilling of some boreholes requires notification given to the British Geological Survey and abstracting more than 20 cubic meters of groundwater requires an abstraction licence from Natural Resources Wales. They also advise that, in addition to planning permission, it is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure they secure all other permits/consents/licences relevant to their development.
