Planning conditions
  1. REFUSE: 1no. Yew (T15) - Reduce height by 3m and crown reduce by 2m.
  2. Reason: The proposed crown reduction by 2m and height reduction by3m on 1no. Yew (T15) is considered unjustified and will be of detriment to the health and appearance of the tree affecting its natural shape and form. The works would thus result in an adverse impact upon the visual amenity, ecology and wildlife and screening of the surrounding area. The owner didn’t express any concerns regarding its health and safety in the application form. They however applied to have a reduction of height and spread to “help support the health of the tree”. The proposed reduction is not minor – 3m in height and 2m in spread and is currently not informed by any sufficient reason.
