CONSENT TO: 1no. Oak (T1, originates from No. 5) - Fell to ground level and treat stump to inhibit regrowth. 1no. Oak (T2, originates from No. 4) - Fell to ground level and treat stump to inhibit regrowth.
Two (2) replacement trees are required to replace T1 and T2. Unless otherwise approved in writing by the Council, the replacement trees shall be two field maples (Acer campestre). Both shall be supplied in accordance with BS 3936-1:1992 as "selected standards" (i.e. 10-12cm girth measured at 1m above ground and an overall height of 300-350cm). The replacement trees shall be planted in their respective gardens and within 2m of the existing trees. The replacement trees shall be planted within the first available planting season (October to March) following the tree removals. Tree planting shall be in accordance with the relevant prescriptions of BS:8545. If within a period of five years after planting either replacement tree is removed, dies or in the opinion of the Council becomes seriously defective, it shall be replaced in the next planting season. Reason: To conserve the character of the locality.
INFORMATIVES: The granting of consent does not give the applicant or their agent a legal right to enter land without the owner’s permission. Neither does it compel a tree owner to carry out work or allow it to take place on their land. All works hereby consented should be carried out by a suitably qualified and insured tree surgeon. A copy of the decision notice should be given to the Tree Surgeon. Please be advised that the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 as amended, the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 and the Conservation (Natural Habitats) Regulations 1994 protect ALL wild birds, their nests (whether in use or being built) and eggs and other wild animals including bats and their roosts in or adjacent to trees. Advice regarding overhead utilities should be sought with the relevant service provider prior to commencing works.
