REFUSE: 1no. Oak (T1) - Total crown reduction of between 3 & 4m REASON FOR REFUSAL: REASON FOR REFUSAL: The reasons put forward to support the application are vague and do not justify crown reduction to this extent. Excessively large volume of foliage would be removed and final cut sizes would be large. This would adversely impact on tree health, its form and overall value to public, visual amenity.
CONSENT TO: 1no. Oak (T1) – Reduce height and radial spread by no more than 1.5m. Pruning wound size will be limited to 50mm diameter.
The tree works hereby consented shall be completed within 2 years of the date of this permission and shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details and to British Standard for Tree Work BS3998:2010 Reason: to ensure the consented works are carried out to an appropriate standard.
Notes to applicant: All works hereby consented should be carried out by a suitably qualified and insured tree surgeon. A copy of the decision notice should be given to the Tree Surgeon.
