REFUSE: 1no. Oak (T0812) - Crown reduction by approx. 3.0-4.0 m, back to suitable secondary growth points. 1no. Oak (T0814 ) - Reduce northern lateral branches by approx. 4.0-6.0m. REASON FOR REFUSAL: Both trees are potentially large, long-lived and native species. They soften the harsh industrial landscape and form part of the green corridor which crosses the estate. No justification has been provided for the proposed crown reductions. The proposed work would cause material harm to these trees and will compromise their amenity value. In the absence of a compelling reason, this work has been refused consent.
