Decision & conditions

Refuse Tree Consent For
T_25_100574 PL_Final Decision
Planning conditions
  1. REFUSE CONSENT: 1no. Cedar (04) - Reduce lateral spread by up to 3m to suitable growth points. REASON FOR REFUSAL: The application cedar (T4) is clearly visible to the public, providing a high level of visual amenity. It is an asset to the Romill Close Conservation Area. Having been reduced in spread within the relatively recent past, the likelihood of branch failure is low. Whilst carrying out further reduction would further reduce the likelihood of failure, this would be at the expense of the form, visual appearance and ongoing health of the tree. As such, the work has been refused permission.
