REFUSE: 1no. Twin Stem Birch (rear garden) - Right-hand stem crown height reduction would be approx. 3m with canopy reduction to rebalance canopy by no more than 1m.
Reason: The proposed height reduction by 3m and canopy reduction by 1m of right-hand stem of 1no. twin stem birch is considered unjustified and will be of detriment to the health and appearance of the tree. The works would thus result in an adverse impact upon the visual amenity, ecology and wildlife and screening of the surrounding area.
CONSENT TO: 1no. Twin Stem Birch (rear garden) - Fell left-hand stem due to decline in health.
