REFUSE: 1 no. Oak (T3 - Shown as one of two trees both numbered T3 on the supplied plan: it is growing in the rear of No 3 and has the deck constructed around it. It is the most southerly of the ones on the plan) Reduce height by 2-2.5m, reduce lateral growth by up to 1.5m over garden. 1 no. Oak (T4 shown as T3 on supplied plan but is growing in the garden of No 2 and is the middle of the three trees indicated) - Reduce lateral growth over rear garden of No. 3 by up to 2.0m.
Reason: The proposed work to 1 no. Oak (T3 - Shown as one of two trees both numbered T3 on the supplied plan: it is growing in the rear of No 3 and has the deck constructed around it. It is the most southerly of the ones on the plan) and 1 no. Oak (T4 shown as T3 on supplied plan but is growing in the garden of No 2 and is the middle of the three trees indicated) is considered unjustified and will be of detriment to the health and appearance of the trees. The works would thus result in an adverse impact upon the visual amenity, ecology and wildlife and screening of the surrounding area.
CONSENT TO: 1 no. Oak (T1) - Crown lift to 5.5m over road and parking bay, remove epicormic growth to a height of 5m or crown break. 1 no. Oak (T3 in garden of No 3) - Crown lift over garden to 4m.
