Prior Approval for demolition of Outlook House and associated prefabricated building at Hamble Point Marina under Schedule 2, Part 11, Class B of the GPDO 2015 (as amended)

1. The demolition shall be carried out in accordance with the following plans RLO1 and RLO2, and the details submitted within this application, including the demolition method statement hereby approved. Reason: To comply with Schedule 2, Part 11 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015.
2. The demolition shall begin no later than five years from the date of this notification. Reason: To comply with Schedule 2, Part 11 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015.
3. Note to Applicant: The applicant is advised to have regard to relevant environmental legislation and best practice during demolition works, including measures to control dust, noise and pollution, particularly given the proximity of the site to sensitive ecological designations.
4. Note to Applicant: In accordance with paragraph 39 of the National Planning Policy Framework (December 2024), Eastleigh Borough Council takes a positive approach to the handling of development proposals so as to achieve, whenever possible, a positive outcome and to ensure all proposals are dealt with in a timely manner.
