Decision & conditions

Prior Approval Refused
PN_24_98669 PL_Decision not eligible
Planning conditions
  1. Due to the staggered rear elevation of the original dwellinghouse, the proposal would not comply with the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015, Schedule 2, Part 1, Class A (j) (iii), with the proposed enlargement extending beyond a wall forming a side elevation of the original dwellinghouse, and having a total width greater than half the width of the original dwellinghouse. A householder planning application would therefore be required. This can be applied for online via the Planning Portal at www.planningportal.co.uk
  2. The Prior Notification process for larger household extensions can only be applied for prior to the beginning of a development and cannot be used to obtain retrospective planning permission.
