Decision & conditions

Prior Approval Refused
PN_24_98638 PL_Decision not eligible
Planning conditions
  1. Due to the staggered rear elevation of the original dwellinghouse, the proposed enlargement would not comply with the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015, Schedule 2, Part 1, Class A (j) (iii) and a planning application would be required. This is because the proposed development would extend beyond a wall forming a side elevation of the original dwellinghouse and its width would be greater than half the width of the original dwellinghouse. A householder planning application can be applied for online via the Planning Portal at www.planningportal.co.uk.
  2. Note to Applicant: It is noted from the plans that there is an access ramp in place to the front of the property. As this extends beyond the principal elevation of the original dwellinghouse, under the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015, Schedule 2, Part 1, Class A, a planning application would have been required for these works. It is therefore advised that this is included in your householder application.
