- The proposed single storey rear extension, following removal of the existing conservatory, is not able to follow the prior notification process as it will be extending beyond a wall which forms a side elevation of the original dwellinghouse, and would have a width greater than half the width of the original dwellinghouse. The proposed single rear extension does not therefore comply with Schedule 2, Part 1, Class A (j) (iii) of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015, and an application for planning permission is required. A householder planning application can be applied for online via the Planning Portal at www.planningportal.co.uk
