  1. The proposed single storey rear extension is not able to follow the prior notification process as it will be extending beyond a wall forming a side elevation of the original dwellinghouse (side wall of kitchen), and would have a width greater than half the width of the original dwellinghouse. The proposed extension would therefore not comply with Part 1, Class A (j) of the Second Schedule of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015, and a planning application will be required. An application can be applied for online via the Planning Portal at www.planningportal.co.uk
