Decision & conditions

Permit
H_24_98283 Decision notice informative leaflet - PERMIT H_24_98283 PL_Final Decision
Planning conditions
  1. The development hereby permitted shall be implemented in accordance with the following plans numbered: 1176- 20-01 Rev A. Reason: For the avoidance of doubt and in the interests of proper planning.
  2. Within three months of the date of this decision, biodiversity enhancement measures, such as the installation of a bat brick or box and a swift brick or box in locations adhering to ecological best practices, shall be implemented and maintained thereafter. Reason: To enhance biodiversity and mitigate the ecological impact of the hedge removal.
  3. If any further works to the site are proposed, including maintenance or landscaping, they must be carried out outside the bird nesting season (March to August inclusive) or be preceded by a survey conducted by a suitably qualified ecologist. The survey findings must be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority prior to the commencement of such works. Reason: To protect nesting birds and other local wildlife, including hedgehogs.
  4. All remaining waste materials associated with the removal of the previous boundary treatment must be cleared from the site within one month of the decision date to prevent any ongoing ecological or visual impacts. Reason: To safeguard the visual amenity of the area and to prevent harm to local wildlife.
  5. Note to Applicant: In accordance with paragraph 39 of the National Planning Policy Framework (December 2024), Eastleigh Borough Council takes a positive approach to the handling of development proposals so as to achieve, whenever possible, a positive outcome and to ensure all proposals are dealt with in a timely manner.
