Decision & conditions

Refuse Planning Permission For
H_24_98271 Decision notice informative leaflet - REF REM (HAS) H_24_98271 PL_Final Decision
Planning conditions
  1. The proposed installation of an air source heat pump, due to its potential to exceed acceptable noise standards and the lack of adequate mitigation measures, is considered to have an unacceptable impact on the residential amenity of neighbouring properties. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policies DM1, DM4, and DM8 of the Eastleigh Borough Local Plan (2016-2036), and the contents of the National Planning Policy Framework (2024).
  2. Note to Applicant: The application was refused following the assessment of the following plans: TQRQM24272110823696, 01, 02, 03, and 04. In accordance with paragraph 39 of the National Planning Policy Framework (December 2024), Eastleigh Borough Council takes a positive approach to the handling of development proposals so as to achieve, whenever possible, a positive outcome and to ensure all proposals are dealt with in a timely manner.
