- Insufficient information has been submitted to demonstrate that the proposed development would not damage the structural condition of the trees to the south east, which are protected by a Tree Preservation Order. As such, the proposal is contrary to Saved Policy DM1 of the Eastleigh Borough Local Plan (2016-2036) and the guidance contained within the Trees and Development SPD
- Note to Applicant: The application was refused following the assessment of the following plans: 06 - Proposed Site Plan and Floor Plan In accordance with paragraph 38 of the National Planning Policy Framework (July 2021), Eastleigh Borough Council takes a positive approach to the handling of development proposals so as to achieve, whenever possible, a positive outcome and to ensure all proposals are dealt with in a timely manner.
