Planning conditions
  1. The development hereby permitted shall be implemented in accordance with the following plans numbered: PL01, PL/01 and 02 Reason: For the avoidance of doubt and in the interests of proper planning.
  2. Note to Applicant: It is confirmed that the rain water from the carport is going into 45-gallon water buts to harvest the water for the garden. An overflow from the water buts will run to the soak away on the plot.
  3. Note to Applicant: It is recommended to install a bat box and a bird box on the mature tree, a similar tree on the property or on the house. Please note swift nest boxes can be used by many species of birds, but need a 4-5 m drop and cannot be located above a window. They would not be suitable on the front of the house due to the porch, but may be possible on the rear elevation.
  4. Note to Applicant: It is recommended to plant more flowering plants in the garden to attract pollinators.
  5. Note to Applicant: This decision is made in accordance with Section 73A of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended), which allows for the granting of planning permission for development that has been commenced and/or been completed.
  6. Note to Applicant: In accordance with paragraph 38 of the National Planning Policy Framework (February 2019), Eastleigh Borough Council takes a positive approach to the handling of development proposals so as to achieve, whenever possible, a positive outcome and to ensure all proposals are dealt with in a timely manner.
