Decision & conditions

Refuse Planning Permission For
F_25_99699 PL_Final Decision
Planning conditions
  1. Insufficient information has been provided to demonstrate that the development provides adequate provision for the parking and manoeuvring of vehicles on the site, without which the proposal would encourage the parking of vehicles on the public highway and so interrupt the free flow of traffic and cause a hazard to road users. As such the proposal is contrary to Policy DM1 of the Eastleigh Borough Local Plan (2016-2036)
  2. Note to Applicant: In accordance with paragraph 38 of the National Planning Policy Framework (July 2021), Eastleigh Borough Council takes a positive approach to the handling of development proposals so as to achieve, whenever possible, a positive outcome and to ensure all proposals are dealt with in a timely manner. In this instance the application has been refused as it is contrary to the relevant policies of the Local Plan and the planning harm was unable to be resolved in a timely manner.
