Planning conditions
  1. The replacement building and associated outdoor storage yard and car park would create an urbanising feature that would be out of keeping and detrimental to the rural appearance of the site and that of its countryside location. The development is therefore contrary to Policies DM1 and DM18 of the Eastleigh Borough Local Plan (2016-2036) and provision with the National Planning Policy Framework.
  2. Note to Applicant: In accordance with paragraph 38 of the National Planning Policy Framework (December 2024), Eastleigh Borough Council takes a positive approach to the handling of development proposals so as to achieve, whenever possible, a positive outcome and to ensure all proposals are dealt with in a timely manner. In this instance the application has been refused as it is contrary to the relevant policies of the Local Plan. The proposal was refused on the following plans: A24895(1.0)102RevE1, A24895(2.0)102RevC4, A24895(1.0)100RevE1, A24895(2.0)100RevC3, A24895(1.0)101RevE1, A24895(2.0)101RevC3, ACC24185-01 & NJC-001RevA.
