Planning conditions
- The cumulative impact of the proposed signs would result in excessive visual clutter to the detriment of character and appearance of the locally listed building, application site and the wider locality. As such the proposal is contrary to Policies DM1 & DM12 of the Eastleigh Borough Local Plan (2016-2036) & provisions within the National Planning Policy Framework.
- Note to Applicant: The application was refused following the assessment of the following plans: 1186PL-RDT-ZZ-ZZ-DR-A-0002_PL1, 1186PL-RDT-ZZ-XX-DR-A-1111_PL2 & Visual Presentation 12/02/2024. In accordance with paragraph 38 of the National Planning Policy Framework (December 2024), Eastleigh Borough Council takes a positive approach to the handling of development proposals so as to achieve, whenever possible, a positive outcome and to ensure all proposals are dealt with in a timely manner.
