Decision & conditions

Prior Approval is Required
Decision Notice
Planning conditions
  1. The proposal does not constitute development permitted by Schedule 2, Part 3, Class M of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended). The existing lawful use of the premises as a beauty salon with provision for babies and small children to attend with their parent/guardian is a sui generis use and does not fall within any of the specified uses eligible for a change of use to dwellinghouses under Class M. As the proposal falls outside the scope of the permitted development rights granted by Class M, planning permission is required. Therefore, prior approval cannot be granted.
