- The tree continues to provide significant amenity value and there is insufficient evidence to demonstrate that it is dead, dangerous or beyond reasonable management. Alternative remedial measures, consistent with BS3998:2010, have not yet been exhausted and there remains a realistic prospect of recovery following improvement of the rooting environment. Accordingly, consent for the removal of the protected cedar is refused.
