Extension to consented Derrykillew Wind Farm consisting of up to 8 no. wind turbines with a tip height of up to 150 metres, access roads, 1 no. onsite electrical substation, borrow pit, underground electrical and communications cabling connecting the turbines to the proposed onsite substation, 1 no. temporary construction compound and a permanent anemometry mast. It is proposed that existing forestry tracks through the site will be upgraded and used for the construction and operation of the proposed development. New access routes may also be required; the siting of which will have regard to the constraints identified onsite. All windfarm cabling will be laid underground.
