to be checked T1 Beech - Reduce by between 1.0m - 2.5m the large northern most limb to good growth points and the remainder of the trees side growth by 1.0m to give a balanced crown the uppermost growth is to be left as it is, the tree has a wide spreading crown and the uppermost growth is not considered to need works. Any dead or defective branches will be removed. The tree has a large decay pocket at the point of the forks and the most effected limb is the north side of the tree that extends over the electricity sub-station and car parks, the aim of these works are to reduce the weight and leverage from the long extended side branches to significantly reduce the risk of future failure in what is a high hazard area.
