Works will involve excavation of mudstone and sandstone in benched layers of the purposes of forestry road/track construction and maintenance. The site will be worked initially in 2023 and will be revisited as and when aggregate is required for forestry purposes. Benches will be cut into the existing rockface/exposure that forms the historic quarry face
