- The proposed rear extension would fail to meet the criteria of Class A.1(i) within Part 1 of Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015. The proposed rear extension would be sited within 2 metres of the boundary of the curtilage of the dwellinghouse, and the height of the eaves of the enlarged part would exceed 3 metres. Accordingly, the proposal fails to comply with limitation A.1(i) of Class A, Part 1, Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 and therefore does not constitute permitted development. Prior approval cannot therefore be granted.
