Planning conditions
  1. Insufficient information has been submitted to demonstrate that the operation of the proposed jet wash bays would not result in unacceptable noise and disturbance to neighbouring residential occupiers. In the absence of a robust noise assessment, the Local Planning Authority cannot conclude that the proposal would safeguard residential amenity and is therefore contrary to Policies SO1.2 and SO2.2 of the Cannock Chase District Local Plan and the National Planning Policy Framework (2024).
  2. Reason for Refusal of Planning Permission In accordance with paragraph (38) of the National Planning Policy Framework the Local Planning Authority has worked with the applicant in a positive and proactive manner to approve the proposed development. However, in this instance the proposal fails to accord with the Local Plan and the National Planning Policy Framework.
