- The proposal would be sited in an appropriate location, to replace an existing monopole and associated telecommunication equipment with a monopole that is 2.5 metres higher. The proposed mast and associated apparatus would not appear incongruous against surrounding context, when considering the current installation at the site. Accordingly, it is assessed the mast would be well related to its surroundings and would not have a detrimental effect on the appearance of the area over and above that of the current installation and the proposal therefore complies with Chase District Local Plan Policies SO1.2, SO2.2 and SO5.2. Prior approval is not required as to the siting or design of the mast.
