- The proposed 20m high telecommunications mast and associated equipment would be sited adjacent a busy road and would sit within a context of a commercial site, surrounded by residential properties and associated infrastructure. The proposals are considered acceptable in the context of the area and overall would conserve the character of site. Accordingly, it is assessed the mast would be related to existing buildings and their surroundings and would not have a detrimental effect on the appearance of the area so as to comply with Cannock Chase Local Plan Policy CP3. Prior approval is not required as to the siting or design of the mast.
