Expansion of Chesterton Community College from a six form entry secondary school (900 pupils) to an eight form entry secondary school (1,200 pupils), including partial demolition and erection of part one and part two storey extension to include a new main Entrance / Reception, a large Main Hall, a Dining Hall, a Kitchen, new teaching rooms, circulation space, WCs and Storage Facilities; extension to existing car park; the provision of new cycle parking; hard and soft landscaping; general building refurbishment; removal of a gas meter; and improvements to the access road with internal pedestrian crossing points.
