Part retention of external landscape, accessibility and fire-safety works to Clare Hall, comprising renewal of the podium waterproofing and replacement of podium and ground-level paving, alterations to external levels, steps and balustrades, reinstatement of ground-level planting beds and the original water rill, new soft landscaping, replacement planters, seating, external lighting, signage and wayfinding, and retention of the removal of the non-original entrance gates, with associated making good. Fire-safety works comprise replacement and upgrading of fire doors, installation of a water-mist system and fire and smoke-control dampers, with associated equipment and alterations, alterations to the dining hall escape doorway and screen and to a non-original window to one of the flats, localised removal of non-original fabric and reinstatement of door and window openings to provide secondary means of escape, and formation of pass doors within balcony divider screens.
