Works:1. Beech tree - Reduce approx 1.5m - using Reduction Via Thinning techniques. 2. Sweet chestnut - Retrench prune by reducing leader and shortening limb over road 3. Robinia - remove deadwoodJustification:1. Beech tree - The tree has a wound and cavity with active fungal bracket on the main stem. The light reduction is planned to reduce the wind loading and enable the tree to be retained long term. 2. Sweet chestnut - The tree is declining and reducing the long branches should reduce the likelihood of a significant breakout leading to the rest of the tree needing to be removed.3. No permission required. Dead wood removal only.

Works:T1. Fell to ground levelT2. Fell to ground levelReplace with 2 trees, species to be decided Justification:T2 has lost a large limb and the remaining tree is now compromised. While reducing the tree could stabilize the tree the resulting tree is going to look pretty awful and therefore not have significant amenity value. The tree should therefore be removed. The reduction or removal of T2 would leave T1 exposed, and T1 would therefore need works to reduce the risk to an acceptable level. Unfortunately as all the limbs on T1 are at the top reducing the tree is not viable so believe it should also be removed.
