Nottingham Road, Nuthall [6194] (lime) - Feature number Nottingham Road, Nuthall [6194] is an over mature lime tree growing within the adopted highway.Concerns are expressed regarding the low overhanging branches.Both the church and community centre use the adjacent access road and we are seeking permission to remove low overhanging branches.Works applied for are:1. Make clear the access road to achieve a maximum of 5 metre clearance.2. Works will involve the removal of small secondary branches to achieve this clearance.3. All works will be overseen by a Via officer and works will be carried out in accordance to current best practice. BS 3998: 2010.4. The photo below is annotated to show positions of pruning cuts to secondary branches.5. Also, other smaller branches may be pruned over the driveway to achieve the 5 metre clearance.
