Council planning record

Removal of existing metal railing gates in the two openings to the graveyard and replace with two solid hardwood flood gates to be installed on timber fence posts. Fence posts to have a support spur at back which would be installed below ground level. The gate hearth stone present at the main gate would be removed. A concrete hearth will be installed in both openings with a 50mm upright in order to provide a seal against the gates. These gates would stop the flow of water coming off the A465 and in turn the public road outside the Chapel in extreme weather situations.Removal of five metal air vents (should be six but one is missing) and replace with six M3 Floodtec self closing air vents.
