We have 16 Ash trees around the property (strawberry cottage) which are showing early signs of ash dieback. We need to deal with them before they become dangerous to the property and members of the public. All the trees are near the entrance of the reserve and around the cottage.We will be using a contractor to climb several of the trees and highline material out of the difficult areas with no available drop zone. Most of the trees will need felling in place and will be left to rot naturally on site.The trees above the cottage will need felling and making safe to ensure they do not roll onto the property.We will need to fell one young oak (approx 40 years) to make space to fell several of the ash.
