Council planning record

The entrance to the field is a 3m gate at a 90 degree angle to the gravel track access path with grass edges and banks. It is already a little complicated to enter the field with a normal size car, especially when the edge or middle of the path are wet and may well be impossible with a tractor or equipment needed for field maintenance / delivering hay. Until we bought the field, it belonged to the same person as the adjoining ones and offered easy access from one field to the next without entering off the main path. Since we have only purchased this one field, access via the neighbouring field is now not possible. We would therefore like to remove ca. 3m of hedge and bank along the path in order to widen the entrance. (Re. the age of the hedgerow question below - we do not know the age)
