Application overview
Works on the spillway include: remediation of the existing spillway weir, reconstruction of the existing spillway chute, reconstruction of/modifications to the existing stilling basin, addition of drainage to alleviate uplife pressures on the spillway, reconstruction/remediation of the crest wave wall (the proposed increase in height of the crest wave wall is 100mm to 300mm at the current feasibility stage), investigation of the settled section of wave wall and undertake identified remediation works. No new access or changes to the layout are proposed.
