    I am seeking consent for a new small section (2 spans) of 33kV overhead line which will connect onto an existing section of 33kV overhead line at new pole 185a to the east of the Glensheallach transformer, to the north east of the Onich area of Fort William. New single pole 185a will be installed on the existing overhead line and a back-stay will be installed for tee-off. From pole 185a, there will be a new 2 span overhead spur which will consist of two new double poles, with 2 supporting stay wires on pole 2.

    The application relates to the Scottish Power Distribution SP11111 Coldstream 11kV Overhead Line circuit re-build. The line is located south of Coldstream with the majority of the circuit rebuild line located within England. The small section of overhead line located in Scotland is 260m in length including spurs, consisting of 5 poles and 6 stays with the tallest pole being 11m in height. The access arrangements will be discussed and agreed with the landowners prior to any work commencing. Please note pole 19 is not part of this application as it is located in England and the green line on the route map signifies the Scottish/English border.

    SSEN propose to construct a new overhead line spur in order to provide a new connection for a telecommunication mast site. The new line will consist of 2 new single poles which will house our plant equipment and transformer. The new overhead line will be installed using poles of a wooden variety and these will be no more than 11 metres in height. The total length of the overhead line will be 18 metres. From Pole 223 on the current spur we propose to install approx. 18m of 33kV overhead cable, moving down into underground mains cable and service cable, which will terminate within the mast site. The cable route will be classed as permitted development.

    Proposal to construct a new OHL spur in order to provide a new connection for a BESS site. The new line will consist of 2 new single poles which will house our plant equipment and transformer. The new OHL will be installed using poles of a wooden variety and these will be no more than 12 metres in height. The total length of the overhead line will be 37 metres. From Pole 156 on the current spur, we propose to install approx. 37m of 33kV overhead cable, moving down into underground mains cable and service cable, which will terminate at the customer connection point. The cable route will be classed as permitted development and is not detailed in the plan. As this line is to be constructed away from the main road there will be no requirement for traffic management, supplies will be stored in our local depot yard in Perth.

    SSEN proposes the construction of a new 33kV overhead line to increase the capacity required to facilitate electric ferry chargers at Colintraive Ferry Terminal. The new 33kV overhead line spur will come from pole 143 of the Clachaig Village circuit. The overhead line will consist of 2 single poles, 2 double poles and 3 span of 33kV conductor. The total length of the overhead line will be 30m. The poles will house our plant equipment and a number of these will also have stay wires attached. The poles will be 11m in height.
