Council planning record

Refer to supporting schedule and plan; Ash (T1) - currently covered with excessive ivy growth, crown splits low down and we have been advised that this may cause rot in the centre. Would like to remove the ivy growth to allow proper inspection of the tree. Assuming the tree is healthy, we would seek to reduce crown by approx 25% due to excessive size which overhangs a building. If we are advised the tree needs to be reomoved, we would need to carry this out and would seek permission on this application to cover this eventuality. Leylandii (T2) - reduce height by approximately 50% due to blocking sunlight into lawn area and to increase space for birch tree (T3). Leylandii (T4) - reduce height by approximately 50% due to blocking sunlight into lawn area an dto increase space for birch tree (T3) Leylandii and Yew (T5) - remove as next to house - our surveyor verbally recommended that this is to be done to reduce risk of damage to property and it will improve access significantly around the property. Overgrown hedge (H1) - reduce to 12ft high by gravel driveway. Remove part of hedge parallel to main driveway to improve light into surrounding area and enable linkage of space either side of the hedge. Spruce (T6) - remove due low amenity value and blocking light to Glebe House rear garden. Yew (T7 and T8) - reduce crown by approximately 20%.
