Council planning record

The proposal is the installation of fibre broadband. Due to the nature of the works and the proposed route of the fibre installation, hand dug trenching activities are required within the root protection areas of a number of the trees subject to the tree preservation order 140 1997. The proposed trench location is on the supplied plan. The trench is to be hand dug to a depth of 45cm and 30cm width. No tree roots greater than 25mm diameter are to be disturbed or damaged. A section of the proposed route is to be sited in the existing hard standing footpath linking Woodside Close and Sycamore Close to the playing field. The trench will be back filled with the excavated material and made good. Ground disturbance and soil compaction is to be kept to an absolute minimum.
