Council planning record

G1: Group of mixed trees along river bank comprising : Ash , Prunus, Apple, Elder The trees are ivy clad with suppressed growth and in a partial state of collapse. Some have fallen into the river. All are beyond pruning and it is not viable to retain any trees as feature specimens. The idea is to remove the two ash trees before they succumb to ash die back and cause problems. The remaining group trees are to be reduced to an approximate height of 1 metre and to allow them to regrow as a hedge whilst maintaining the integrity of the river bank. Stems fallen/growing into the river are to be removed to clear the water course. G2: Group of trees along South West side boundary comprising: Ivy-clad Cherry Plum, Yew, Bay The prunus are suppressed and ivy-clad and some ate standing dead stems. All are either to be felled or to be reduced to approximately 0.75 metres in height to allow for some hedge regrowth. The yew tree is to be crown lifted to a height of 2 metres with some of the extending lower lateral spread being reduced back from the Broadis property side and left as a specimen tree. The bay tree is to be reduced in height by 3 metres and pruned to shape and contained.
