Application overview
The tree is a mature oak with far reaching branches. It is positioned in front of the house and immediately adjacent to the drive. One of the main branches has a growing crack in it that we are concerned will break causing the branch to fall into the garden or onto the house. We have consulted a tree surgeon who confirms that the branch needs to be cut back to the healthy section before the crack. He also notes dead wood in the canopy, the removal of which would benefit the health of the tree. Photos attached.
