We have recently bought this property. There are three leylandii trees that were left when a string of similar trees were removed by a previous owner. The reasons why these were left in unclear. They obscure the views for our neighbours across the conservation zone and are so large that they threaten the border fencing and impinge on the neighbours access to his garage. They cut out sunlight to our garden from the south and have no amenity value. Previously an application to remove the trees was passed by the council but that was more than 2 years ago and it needs to be renewed for us to proceed. (Tree works notice 10602). The trees will be felled, all debris removed from the site and the roots ground out. Please note that we are not proposing to carry out any other work listed on the enclosed plan from August 2019.
