Council planning record

Three Ash trees on the nature reserve have been identified on a recent tree survey that require works. T1: Dead Ash tree near reserve entrance/gateway - remove and leave as a high stump for livestock to use. T2: Ash tree with significant upper crown dieback over the public right of way - reduce to a 4m monolith, widths dependant on habitat features present approximated to be 25-30cm in diameter. T3: Ash tree over public right of way with large wound from previous limb loss. Due to the large wound the tree is in danger of failing over the PROW crown reduced by approx. 3m, down to timber of approx. 15-20cm in diameter (but as much as is necessary to fall beyond the edges of the footpath).
