Council planning record

The tree is a self seeded Laurel. The roots have pushed up paving and as it's next to a brick wall, damage is being caused to the brick work. We want to remove the tree, grind out the root and stump. The raised paving slabs are in an area which is planned to be used by the toddler group, currently it is unsafe and dangerous. We could not allow access to either adults or children. The staff cannot use the area. Due to Covid restrictions we want to use the area to ensure people have fresh air, but it's too dangerous currently. As the tree is a self seeder it was never planned to be so close to the wall or in such close proximity to paving used by the public. During Covid, the roots have grown considerably causing this problem. I am the Church Warden applying on behalf of the Church.
