T1 - Willow tree T1 - Willow tree - pollard mature Willow tree leaning over neighbours property. Large over extended limb fell off earlier in the year and neighbours concern about further falling limbs. Updated 1th October: Since my request was sent it has come to my attention that approximately 60% of the base of the tree has rotten through, leaving a cavity. The initial request was for a pollard because an over-extended limb had broken away. But now the discovery of this cavity means we are thinking of reducing it even further, possibly removing the tree completely. When you visit the tree, please could you also inspect the base as this could save you a second trip. Remarks:
