Council planning record

Parquet flooring in bar area - the contractor will be removing the rotten and loose parquet timber blocks; discarding the rotten blocks and putting the good blocks to one side for reuse. A levelling compound will then be laid onto the current sub-floor which appears to be a modern concrete slab. The timber blocks (those put aside plus a number of reclaimed blocks to replace the discarded rotten blocks) will then be relaid using a modern adhesive. Once the flooring is laid it will be gently sanded, stained and polished. Plasterwork to rear stairs/ceiling - there are approximately 4/m2 of repairs required to an area of ceiling and walls to a rear staircase. These repairs will be carried out by a specialist sub-contractor (yet to be appointed) who will carry out the repairs to match the existing materials including the finishes.
