Council planning record

- T1 Lawson cypress: lift lower crown to approximately 2.0metres above ground level and reshape. - G2 weeping ash: reduce weight to all major limbs, either by crown thinning or reduction works. - G2, G3 topiary Irish yews: begin phased height reduction of 0.5metres, every 2years, for a period of up to 6 years (subject to monitoring reaction and regrowth response). With 0.5metres reductions being undertaken from previous point of growth. When a 1.0metre reduction is reached and prior to the third reduction, further consent to be sought from the Local Authority for this work, in order to allow for the condition of the trees to be assessed as well as the impact of the proposals. As the trees are at varying existing heights, it is not anticipated that they will all be reduced by 2.0metres over 6 years. Re-tie where necessary. -G3 mature, common yew: crown reduction to give radial reduction of up to 2.0metres and a height reduction of up to 1.0metre. Pruning to be back to target growth points. - T3 lime x2no.coppice stools: re-coppice lime stool in north west corner of churchyard, to just above ground level. The larger T3 lime stool, the subject of the Tree Preservation Order, to have a phased re-coppicing operation undertaken in order to ensure that the stool survives. This will require the stems to be thinned out over a period of growing seasons. - T4 cedar of Lebanon: remove deadwood, reduce end-weight of large, lower lateral and remove one large over-extended lateral. - T5 Wellingtonia: remove deadwood and carry out selective end-weight reduction on selected limbs, to reduce loading on branch attachments. - T6 lime: re-pollard back to previous pollard points and remove basal sucker growth.
