I am seeking removal of previously damaged Yew tree on my property. Tree was damaged ~2 years ago by wind blown English Oak that fell from neighbouring managed woodland (Wessex timber). The Oak and portion has been removed and fencing reinstated. We had hoped to save the tree via pruning, but the imbalance of the branches on the East side (vs sheared West side) of the tree is causing the tree to lean and Im concerned it will fall onto our septic system, which is to the East of the tree. We plan to replace the tree with heritage species at the recommended 3:1 ratio. Since obtaining the property, we have planted 12 new trees, including Yew and Yew hedging.

What these statistics cover

These figures describe applications collected by PlanningTrack for South Oxfordshire District Council, across all dates currently available. They are a partial dataset, rather than an authority-wide performance measure. The date range does not establish continuous historical coverage.

The approval percentage is approved records divided by approved plus refused records. Pending, withdrawn and unknown outcomes are excluded. No percentage is shown until there is an approved or refused record.
